Istikhara - The 1:1 Guidance Session

Today’s Sunnah highlights a much greater asset of the Muslim nation, a special gift of ALLAH. Istikhara is an old tradition but the Sunnah way of istikhara which our beloved Prophet ﷺ has taught us and insisted on, is an easy and straightforward method to be done by each one personally, to ask ALLAH and be satisfied before every decision and confusion of life.

Have you ever considered taking a one-to-one advisory session and approval from ALLAH subhanahu wa ta’ala? Isn't that very interesting and very comforting? And in addition, we can do it on any matter. Whenever we feel stuck with some decision or confused on some matter we can pray 2 rakah of nafl prayer, read the dua, and seek honestly the guidance from ALLAH.

ALLAH who is "The King" of all the kings and the supreme power of this whole world, is so kind that He doesn't give us an appointment after months or delay our requests for an advisory session just to make us realize that He is the Greatest, and He is the Grand. But whenever we request guidance He shows us the way, for sure. This connection of ALLAH with His slave is essentially the best relationship and it is so beautiful indeed.
