The Friends in Faith

This is my first time writing a blog here, and after thinking about what to write, one thing stood out to me: the importance of having a friend who shares your faith.

Throughout life, we meet many people and make friends, but only a few become our best friends. We usually think of a best friend as someone who is always there for us, through good times and bad. But recently, I realized that a true friend is also someone who helps us get closer to our faith in Allah SWT.

I am truly grateful to Allah SWT for blessing me with a friend like that. She was my Chemistry teacher in ninth grade, but over the years she became much more than that. For more than 20 years now, she has been there for me as a mentor and a friend. Her presence has helped me become closer to Allah SWT and strengthened my faith in Him during trials, boosting resilience, and nurturing my spiritual journey towards the hereafter.

Such friendships, rooted in faith, are invaluable. These are the kinds of friends we should all have. They rise above worldly quests and guide us away from superficial fashion, wealth, or appearance competition. A true friend walks alongside you on the path to Allah SWT, supporting you in securing the highest ranks of Jannah, Inshallah.

Our beloved Prophet ﷺ has sunnah of keeping the companions and beloved friends in believers and forsaking others in front of this relation of eeman.

ALLAH Subhanahu wa ta’ala openly informed & warned us in the Quran that no friends will remain friends on the day of Qiyamah except the righteous friends, who were good for us in the world too, and will be good companions in Jannah in sha ALLAH.

Equally important is our role in becoming supportive, kind, and inspirational friends ourselves. By spreading the message of ALLAH Subhanahu wa ta’ala and encouraging others to seek their best selves, we ensure the continuity of this righteous cycle, contributing to the betterment of our world, in sha ALLAH.

Sam is our valuable team member in TLN and she left no stone unturned through her hard work to keep our website in good shape. This multitalented girl has so much to share with us and we are wondering about her writing skills from this very first article with TLN.

Never stop dear Sam, way to go ahead, rise and shine my girl, may ALLAH help & guide you :) aameen.
