Al Muhyi - The Life-Giving Authority
Al Muhyi is the One who has given the life. He is the only One who can give life. He is the giver of life for the first time and again revives life as well, in the same way, He has created it for the first time.
ALLAH said in the Quran that He sent down rain to give life to the dead earth. After the rain, the earth gives the beauty of life as greenery, and from this life of earth, the rizq is coming out for all living beings both humans and animals. Likewise, He will give life to every dead also on the day of Qiyamah for final accountability.
In another way of thinking, if we say the rain is the 'ilm' ALLAH bestowed on Mankind that brought life to the dead hearts and souls. When we get the knowledge, the heart becomes aware of its majestic Creator and the fantastic possibilities He has given us to improve ourselves. This new life reaches us by the direction He gave us in our book, the Quran Al Hakeem.
This life of the heart is the first link in the chain of betterment and success. The real success is the identification of our aim in life to get back to our real home in Jannah. It can be achieved by using this lifetime wisely according to our learning to gain access to our destination.
No one can give life to the dead except ALLAH - Al Muhyi. No one in this whole setup has any share in this creative characteristic of ALLAH. So what is our share in this name? The human share is to understand our part in this life on earth after understanding the supreme status of ALLAH. Our part is to make our way together (not alone) to the liveliness of ilm. By spreading the true essence of the Quran through our words and our actions. If we can bring up a lifeline of faith and kindness that the Quran taught us to our surroundings, we may assume we did not waste our valuable gift of life.
