Al Mughni - The Enriching Authority
Al Mughni is the One who gives wealth to His servants. He is the Authority that gives sufficiency.
ALLAH Almighty is the Savior of His servants, one of them from the other. He becomes sufficient for His servants when they are in desperate need and when they ask His help.
The word مُغْنِى means “the one who makes sufficient/enough/rich”.
This word doesn't appear in the Quran in this form ( مُغْنِى is the active doer فاعل form from the root of غ ن ي). But it appeared in the verbal forms in many aayaat, some of which we will revise today to understand the meanings of this beautiful name of ALLAH subhanahu wa ta’ala.
He becomes sufficient for them as well as their needs. The others who are created themselves by Him, can neither benefit nor harm even themselves, so how can they do any help for others?
It is only ALLAH- Al Mughni who can take away our needs. He brings us from the condition of being needful to being enriched and satisfied.
The human share in this name is twofold. One is towards ALLAH, trusting Him, firmly believing that only He can make us rich, and satisfied. Only He can make our resources sufficient for us. No one else can do this, until when ALLAH wills to do so. So, our hopes and trust should focus only towards ALLAH.
Another side of this share is acting like Ghani. That is by sharing what ALLAH has given to us to the fellow humans around you with the good intention of ALLAH's pleasure and getting better rewards from His Rahmah.
The human share in this name is well picturized in the below aayaat of Surat Al Layl in a comparative style and is simple yet practical to understand and implement. Everyone should assess and improve in getting more blessings from our Loving Rab.
