Al Muntaqim - The Supreme Avenger
Al Muntaqim is the One who “gives back in return” with all justice. He is the One who compensates the evil with all His supreme power when He decides.
Our Rab has a clear law of giving back. That means good for good actions and intentions and on the other side bad for the non-good acts and evil intentions behind the actions, unless the person asks forgiveness and ALLAH grants it.
The ignorant humans who get the signs, messages, and warnings of ALLAH but deliberately choose to ignore and stay away from guidance, will be getting the worst form of punishment from ALLAH.
He forgives countless times if His slaves ask for His kindness and mercy. His mercy is over all affairs, predominant. But when the time of return finishes and slaves don't ask His forgiveness, then His justice is above everything. His revenge when starts then no one can stop or delay it. He is Al Muntaqim - The Greatest Avenger.
ALLAH Al Muntaqim sent all noble messengers with a message summarised in:
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ So fear Allah and obey me.( Rasul AS) ( Surah ash-Shu’ara)
This message was sent to all mankind to take the straight path towards their Creator and only Rab. But if they choose to be away from this path they have to pay the price of ignorance. They have to pay the price of not submitting to the true King of heavens, the earth, and whatever is contained in between them.
On the other hand, the people who submit and are conscious of ALLAH in their actions will get help and guidance from ALLAH.
ALLAH’s revenge on the wrongdoers is not far away and ALLAH’s promise will definitely be fulfilled.
The human share in this name is to be aware of ALLAH's power of retribution and practically fear it. It is by making all the efforts to save us from His anger. This life is the time to perform towards His pleasure. We need to plan actively for continuous efforts to be better and obedient servants of ALLAH.
Personal revenge in human capacity is not completely prohibited by ALLAH as he knows the best about human nature. But it is made clear that forgiveness is a better choice. Also, self-seeking revenge is a tricky affair, as we can react and go as far as we are bothered by the other side. It is really difficult to balance and avoid overdoing, otherwise, if the reaction is bigger than the first action, the victim will turn into the oppressor. So, to be in peace it is always better to leave the matters to ALLAH as He is the best to take justified revenge.
